Cael's mobility has really taken off in the last couple of weeks since coming home for the holidays. He is crawling all over the place and on New Years Eve he decided that he was ready to take his first few steps. Paul and I were really excited and then the rest of the parent's response was,"now you're in trouble!" I guess time will tell, but he is certainly a lot busier now.

Holy crap, he's starting young!! I'm not too jealous. :) Elliott has taken about 10 steps or so but, I'm sure like Cael, finds crawling much more efficient. Fine by me. Once they start, there's no stopping them. So good to see you guys had a good Christmas. We miss you guys!
do babies with a PT mom walk at an earlier age than other babies? Happy new year from MN!
Wow! I thought Elise walked early - walking at eight months! I actually thought life improved when Elise started walking. She was more independent and could get what she wanted, so she was more content on her own for longer periods of time.
Wish we could have seen you when you were in Bloomington!
Holy cow...that just looks weird to see a little guy Rylan's size upright and walking! Mainly because all Rylan has accomplished thus far is laying on his belly and kicking his feet like mad. lol! Like others have said, not really jealous, though, because it's nice plopping him in one spot, walking away, and knowing he'll be somewhere in the same vicinity when you return! ;-) Cael is a real cutie...I love the rolling over video where Paul is searching for fire in the background! Oh, memories! :-)
Paul, it was good seeing you on Friday. Thanks for the 2 hour break from work and for the excuse for lunch. ;-) I'm sure Mike caught you all up on the happenings of the office. Good luck heading back and with the remainder of your time in the jungle! Now that I've found this blog, I'll be sure to keep up on your adventures (mainly Cael)!
Look at him go! He's going to be running in no time!!! :-)
Lauren and I laughed out loud when we watched this! The McCann's always know how to laugh. How exciting, go Cael!
